Description

This fish farm seine is built for commercial catfish harvest. Constructed from polyethylene with #42 twine and 1 7/8 inch square mesh, it handles the demands of pond draining and crowding operations. The 9-foot depth works well for standard production ponds.

Each seine is hand-built at our Greenville facility using a proprietary poly-polyester blend rope on both float and lead lines. Standard construction includes 3×3 inch hard floats spaced along the top line and evenly distributed leads on the bottom. This configuration keeps the net vertical and working properly in typical farm conditions.

The seine is sold per linear foot, allowing you to order the exact length your operation requires. Custom options are available including tunnels, mudline reinforcement, double rope, double ties, and alternative float colors.

This net is designed for catfish farmers running harvest operations in earthen ponds. The mesh size and twine weight are suited for food-fish harvest, not fingerling or fry work.
